Owner and baker, Kate Ampomah set up the company after years working as a pastry chef in London and San Francisco in order to run workshops and sell her own recipes with signature flavours and designs! The bakery specialises in working with seasonal and locally sourced, 100% natural ingredients and heritage grains, and the small team is dedicated to small batch bakes and fresh produce in order to maintain their high standards.
Deliveries are available across Kent and London, all cakes can all be customised to suit a colour scheme or dietary requirements and they are happy to discuss bespoke designs.
Wedding cakes are an Eat and Mess speciality - they create stunning freehand frosted and naked cakes and dessert tables, and piped swag cakes in single and multi tiers using their signature Swiss meringue buttercream. The team will deliver and set up at your chosen venue across Kent and London, and liaise with florists and coordinators.
You can also order unique cake and brownie treats for teams, employees and clients to brighten up their day. They can cater for holidays and occasions, product launches & celebrations (such as for International Women's Day, Pride, Valentine's, Wimbledon, Christmas etc). Gift boxes are available, as are grazing tables, sharing boxes, Bento cakes and large slab cakes.
