Founded in 2014, The Lane is a small, funky restaurant located just off the main high street, specialising in homemade burgers, afternoon teas with a twist and great breakfasts. The food is freshly prepared daily with a range of vegan, vegetarian, dairy free and gluten free options available.

The Lane also runs special events such as Bingo & Burgers and DJ evenings, special offers and courses including cocktail-making masterclasses.

Opening hours:

  • Monday and Tuesday - 9am to (last food orders) 3pm
  • Wednesday to Saturday - 9am to (last food orders) 8.45pm
  • Sunday - 9am to (last food orders) 4pm

 

The Lane Bakery, located at 22 Queen Street, sells cake slices, cupcakes, traybakes, cookie pies, ice cream, pastries and sausage rolls. They also make special cakes to order (please see their website). The Bakery is open Monday to Friday 10am-4pm, Saturday 9am to 4pm and Sunday 10am to 3pm.
