The Rising Sun is an Pub. Area Deal
defining.coast.liberated
The Rising Sun building dates from 1692 and was originally used to make fishing nets but this changed in 1784 when Richard Sutton opened it as an ale house; it has been selling pints ever since.
This friendly local pub serves real ale, a good selection of lagers and ciders, and a good selection of wine.
They pride themselves on the quality of their food. All their dishes are freshly prepared and cooked to order by their chef, using locally sourced, seasonal produce.
You'll find a real fire in winter, TNT Sports and occasional live music (please see the pub's website for details).
