Ferry Nymph travelled from Ramsgate to Normandy in 1940 to rescue British troops and help board some of the French soldiers as part of Operation Dynamo. The boat took 70 passengers on the first trip and 90 on the second trip, all while under fire with bombs raining down.
In 1985, she joined the Little Ships fleet and, in 1994, more than 50 years after this boat's noble journey, she sank due to rough weather. Fortunately, however, the boat was saved by Dunkirk Little Ships Association.
Fast-forward to today and this Dunkirk veteran acts as a luxury cruising boat with a rich history.
