Join a crafting workshop with artist and gardener Debbie Philpott in the beautiful village of Temple Ewell - workshops (typically lasting between 2-6 hours) take place in Barnabee, a purpose-built barn in the tutor's garden dedicated to crafts and learning. The relaxed, informal sessions are ideal for beginners, with no experience necessary and all equipment is provided. Workshops are held on Mondays, Fridays or Saturdays and can be morning, afternoon or all-day (please see Kent Craft Hive website for details of upcoming workshops).

Workshops include mosaic-making, lino cutting and printing, creating nature tiles using plaster or clay, making insect-houses and decorating canvas bags.

  • Bespoke bookings are welcome - talk to Debbie about what you are interested in learning and she will design the workshop for you.
  • Groups of up to 5 people can be accommodated.
  • Light refreshments are served during shorter workshops, but please bring a packed lunch for an all-day workshop.
  • Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Prices range from £20-70 per person.
