Forage in three special locations: a beautiful parkland, the seabed and the iconic White Cliffs of Dover and then enjoy a gourmet wild food feast in a stylish beach hut in St Margaret's Bay with the White Cliffs of Dover and spectacular views.

Taste nature's flavours from wild garlic to sea kale, sweet blossoms and mineral rich seaweeds. You will learn how to safely gather and enjoy them in a gourmet feast with botanical cocktails and herbal teas included.

The entire experience from the geology of the landscape, to the plants that grow in it, to the restaurant-quality four-course menu set these experiences especially created by Lucia's Stuart (director of The Wild Kitchen) in a league of their own.

Wild food is not only fun to gather but it presents new flavours and countless health benefits. Lucia Stuart, The Wild Kitchen's founder, believes our traditional food cultures are being fast forgotten and are healthy sustainable food for modern times.

The event is suitable for all ages and those who may already enjoy foraging but also complete beginners.

This is a special day of coastal learning with foraged food dishes that are truly delicious. At lunch you can relax and let the Wild Kitchen staff make you comfortable while explaining the dishes.

An (optional) guided sea swim is recommended to end this special day.

What's included:

  • a guided coastal foraging walk in woodland, seashore and cliffs,
  • wild foods from the landscape
  • a gastronomic feast with drinks in our stylish beach hut
  • a sea swim (optional)
  • exclusive Wild Kitchen recipes, gifts and preserving tips.
