Save the date for a fabulous weekend in Sandwich! 

  • Living history displays and exhibitors will include the Desert Rats (who will display uniforms and equipment used in the Western Desert in 1942), 11 Group, a full-size Hawker Hurricane (celebrating the plane's 95th year) and civilian reenactors wearing outfits from the 1940s.
  • Beer tent run by Sandwich Medieval Trust.
  • Tea, coffee and bread pudding from an original NAAFI wagon.
  • Music and entertainment compared by DJ Reverent Boogie from Canterbury Jive.
  • Vintage music, dance and performances throughout the weekend from performers including the Dulcettes, LouLouSwings and May Blossom.
  • Classic vehicle display.
  • Market area selling retro original and reproduction clothes along with military surplus.
  • St Peter's Church craft fair.
  • The Empire cinema will be hosting a swing dance on Saturday from 5-9pm.
