With the ability to accommodate up to three ships simultaneously, the Port of Dover is strategically located for convenient turnaround and port-of-call visits to a range of exciting destinations, including France, Norway, the Baltic, Iceland and the Mediterranean. There are two terminals:
Cruise Terminal 1 Originally built in 1914 as Dover Marine Railway Station, the building has since been renovated to a distinctive cruise terminal while retaining the old station architecture. Cruise clients can enjoy the historic surroundings while relaxing in the stunning modern-day departure lounge.
Cruise Terminal 2 The largest of the terminals, Cruise Terminal 2 was purpose-built in 2000 along the lines of an airport terminal. It is spacious and every inch a 21st-century cruise terminal. From the first-floor departure lounge cruise clients can experience unimpeded, spectacular views of the harbour, the world-renowned White Cliffs and Dover Castle.
Cruise passengers who are both embarking and disembarking at both terminals are assisted with their baggage by skilled and friendly porters and both terminals have fast and efficient check-ins, comfortable lounges, washrooms, lifts and escalators to all floors, valet parking, wheelchair-accessible facilities, baggage handlers and secure berths.
