Kent Downs AONB and Experience project launches its free first business outdoor networking event, NetWalking Kent, on Thursday 22 July at 11am.
Local businesses who have an interest in welcoming and promoting outdoor activity will enjoy a hot drink and hear about support initiatives before walking about 5 kilometres (3 miles) along the stunning White Cliffs of Dover, from St Margaret’s Bay beyond South Foreland lighthouse and back, returning to The Pines Garden Tea Room for a socially distanced light lunch of local produce.
White Cliffs Country is an ideal place to go NetWalking
This is the first time NetWalking Kent has brought businesses together in person who are largely based in the Kent Downs or North Downs Way corridor. The event is being supported by White Cliffs Country, the tourism arm of Dover District Council.
The Pines Garden Tea Room at St Margaret’s at Cliffe is accessible by public transport, with free on-road parking also available. Meet at the tearoom at 11am, rain or shine, with suitable clothing, footwear and business cards for a chance to get out, make connections and learn from other businesses.
