The new visitor experiences will provide unique and Covid-safe opportunities for embracing the spirit of White Cliffs Country and will focus on sustainable tourism, with experiences that can be offered all year round and which use seasonal opportunity to their advantage.

It follows a very successful response from businesses across Deal, Dover and Sandwich to the Interreg EXPERIENCE programme, launched by Visit Kent and part-funded by Dover District Council. More new visitor experiences are yet to be announced - including those being developed by Kent Downs AONB’s Countryside Experience Development Programme, which supports businesses, organisations and individuals to develop sustainable rural visitor experiences in the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and along the North Downs Way.
